Yusra Mardini
ESFJYusra Mardini is a Syrian former competitive swimmer, refugee, and a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador. She is globally renowned for her heroic actions in 2015 when, while fleeing the Syrian Civil War, she and her sister helped push a sinking dinghy of refugees to safety by swimming in the Aegean Sea. She later competed as part of the Refugee Olympic Team at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro and 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
